On July 28th, leadership of SIES held a meeting on the review of first half year’s work and preparation for the second half year’s work agenda. The meeting comes to a consensus that SIES will publish a collection of dissertation at the beginning of next year. SIES will start the contribution and edit work immediately, and establish an editorial committee. At the mean time, in order to unite and train young scholars who study European affairs in Shanghai, the meeting decides to start the Youth Forum of SIES, and will offer some award to promote this activity. The meeting is unanimous that SIES should work actively with SSSA and further enlarge its influence, so that SIES can have a sound foundation for long term development. President Dai Bingran, vice presidents Cao Deming, Cao Ziheng, Li Lezeng, Wang Xiaoshu, Xu Mingqi, Yang Fengmin and Ye Jiang, deputy secretaries generals Ding Chun and Zhang Zuqian and members of secretariat attend the meeting.
