The council of SIES is the executive organ. The secretary general and deputy secretaries-general are responsible for its daily work, under the leadership of the council and its presidents. The daily work operational structure secretariat consists of administrative office, department of academic research, department of consulting and training, department of editing and publishing, and department of international exchange. SIES sets up the academic committees for EU studies, British studies, French studies, German studies, Central and Eastern European studies, Northern European studies, Southern European studies and Eurasian studies.
Prof. Ding Chun is the president of SIES. Prof. Wu Zhongyong, Prof. Liu Jun, Prof. Shang Yuhong, Prof. Wu Huiping, Prof. Yu Jianhua and Prof. Zhang Yinghong are the vice-presidents. Dr. Yang Haifeng is the secretary general. Dr. Jian Junbo, Dr. Long Jing, Prof. Song Lilei and Prof. Xin Hua are the deputy secretaries-general. Prof. Yang Fengmin is the supervisor and the president of the academic committee for EU studies. Prof. Zheng Chunrong is president of the academic committee for German studies.
Prof. Wu Yikang, Prof. Dai Bingran and Prof. Xu Mingqi are the honorary presidents.
