The 2009 session of annual meeting

    On January 16^th, the 2009 session of annual meeting & symposium of SIES was held in East China University of Science and Technology. The theme of this year’s meeting was “EU and EU-China relation under the Lisbon Treaty”. Over 60 experts and scholars on European Studies gathered from different schools and institutes in Shanghai, and discussed the nature of the Lisbon Treaty, its impact, EU-China relation under the Lisbon Treaty and the future of this relationship. The lively discussion demonstrated that, all these topics above are brand new to the Academic of European Studies in China, and deserve further exploration.
