On July, 9th, the conference of “Central Eastern European Countries: from transition to EU integration”, which was jointed organized by SIES, Shanghai Institute of Russia, Eastern Europe & Middle Asia, School of International and Diplomatic Affairs of Shanghai International Studies University, was held in Tongji University. Mr. Andrzej Lysiak, Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Shanghai, Prof. Kong Tianping and Prof. Gao Ge from Institute of Russian, Eastern European & Central Asian Studies of CASS, Mr Hao Deliang and Mr. Liang Yuguo from Shanghai Social Sciences Association were invited to attend the meeting. More than 40 experts and youth scholars from Tongji Univ., Fudan Univ., East China Normal Univ., Shanghai International Studies Univ., Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Shanghai University of Political Sciences and Law, Shanghai Institute for International Studies, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences joined the discussion.
