On July 19th, Mr. Pierre Defraigne, Former Deputy Director General of the Directorate General for Trade at the European Commission, Executive Director of the Madariaga - College of Europe Foundation, was invited to SIES to have discussions with scholars on “The EU integration and its future”. Prof. Ye Jiang, vice-president of SIES, Prof. Zhang Zuqian, vice-secretary general of SIES, Prof. Yangye, executive member of SIES, Associated Prof. Pan Min and Dr. Luo Pengbu from Tongji University and secretariat staffs of SIES joined the meeting.
