1On the afternoon of January 9th, SIES held the first meeting of advisory panel of 2012. The participants of this meeting included SIES’s honorable president Wu Yikang, president Dai Bingran, and its specially appointed advisors such as Pan Guang, Tang Zhenqi, and Peter Dun. On this meeting, Mr. Cao Ziheng, the secretary-general of SIES, reported SIES’s major accomplishments in the past year and its focuses and blueprints for the following year. The advisors of SIES made a fairly favorable appraisal over SIES’s performance in the past year and proposed constructive ideas and advice for SIES’s development in the future. Chen Zhimin, Pan Zhongqi, and Xin Hua also attended the discussion following the meeting of advisory panel, which was focused on the issues related to the European financial crisis & sovereign debt crisis.
