On May 17th, the Symposium on “Current European Situations & China-EU Relations” was jointly organized and operated by the Shanghai Institute for European Studies, the Jiefang Daily, and the Shanghai Association for International Studies. Presided by Professor Dai Bingran, the chairman of SIES, this symposium was participated in by Wu Yikang, Feng Shaolei, Jin Yingzhong, Liao Qin, Zhang Zuqian, Zheng Chunrong, Ding Chun, Dai Qixiu, Zhu Zhihua, Xiao Yunshang, Zhou Yong, Cao Ziheng, Ye Yumin, and Yang Haifeng, all of whom are most prominent scholars and researchers of European studies in Shanghai.
