On the afternoon of June 18th, Mr. Dan Steinbock, the director of international business studies, the India, China, and America Institute of U.S., paid a visit to the Shanghai Institute for European Studies. Mr. Steinbock made a presentation on the European Debt Crisis and its influence over China and Asia. After his presentation, he took a discussion and made some exchanges with Chinese scholars and researchers, including Wu Yikang, Dai Bingran, Xu Mingqi, Zhang Zuqian, Dai Qixiu, Cui Hongwei, Cao Ziheng, Ye Yuming, Xin Hua, and Yang Bo. Some members of the secretariat of SIES also attended this meeting.
