On November 10th, Shanghai Institute for European Studies sponsored and organized the "4th Shanghai Youth Forum for European Studies" and "Symposium on the Current Trends and Pace of the European Debt Crisis" in the branch site of the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS). This forum and symposium were participated in by Mr. Liang Guoyu from the Shanghai Association of Societies of Social Sciences, and nearly 70 scholars from the European Studies Institutions of various universities, think tanks, and other academic institutions of Shanghai. SIES has won "the Prize for Excellent Work of Organization and Sponsorship" for the success of this forum and symposium, which were part of the series of activities of the 6th (2012) "Academic Activities Month" supervised by the Shanghai Association of Societies and Institutes of Social Sciences.
