On the afternoon of November 27th, a top management meeting was held in SIES, discussing SIES' 2012 Annual Conference and its election for a new leadership. It was determined on this meeting that the SIES Annual Conference and Symposium for Annual Review of Shanghai's European Studies of 2012 will be held in the East China Normal University on the afternoon of December 23rd of 2012. On this meeting, the candidates for the new council of SIES were nominated and a review over the 4 years' work of this incumbent leadership was made. This meeting was presided by SIES' president, Professor Dai Bingran, and attended by Professor Wu Yikang, the Honorable President of SIES, Professor Cao Deming, SIES' vice president, Professor Feng Shaolei, Professor Li Lezeng, Prefessor Wang Xiaoshu, Professor Xu Mingqi, Professor Ye Jiang, Dr. Cao Ziheng, and SIES' vice secretary-general Yu Jianghua. The staff members of SIES' secretariat attended the meeting as the non-voting participants.
