On February 28th, Mr. Harris, Chief of the Liaison Office of European Parliament in U.S. Congress, came to SIES on invitation and exchanged ideas with members of SIES over the ongoing negotiations for EU-U.S. free trade and investment agreement, and the Asia-Pacific policies of EU and U.S. This exchange was attended by SIES's honorary presidents Prof. Wu Yikang and Prof. Dai Bingran, SIES's current president Prof. Xu Mingqi, SIES's secretary-general Cao Ziheng and deputy secretary-general Zhang Zuqian, Dr. Yang Haifeng, Ms. Ye Yuming, Prof. Xin Hua, and several other scholars and researchers.
