On the afternoon of August 26th, SIES organized a joint meeting of leadership and Party working group. On this meeting, discussions and arrangements were made over the working plans for the second half of this year, and particularly on the preparatory works for “the Symposium on the Governances of European Countries and Their Enlightenments to China”, which would be a specialized academic conference arranged by the Shanghai Association of Social Sciences and organized by SIES. This meeting was participated in by Prof. Xu Mingqi, Prof. Wu Yikang, Prof. Dai Mingran, Prof. Cao Deming, Prof. Ding Chun, Prof. Dai Qixiu, Dr. Cao Ziheng and Dr. Yang Haifeng. Dr. Liu Jun also attended this meeting.
