The SIES was awarded the Honorable Title of “2012-2014 Excellent Academic Association of Social Science in Shanghai”

    On the afternoon of October 21^st, the Shanghai Federation of Social Sciences held the 9^th working conference on the academic associations for the philosophical studies and social sciences and their 9^th special activities of academic month. The honorable titles and prizes of “eminence in the unique academic activities of academic associations” and “outstanding brands for the activities of academic associations” were awarded. The Shanghai Institute for International Studies was awarded the honorable title of “2012-2014 Excellent Academic Association of Social Science in Shanghai”. Prof. DAI Qixiu and Dr. ZHANG Ji was awarded the title and prize for “Excellent Contributors to Work of Social Science Association in Shanghai”. The SIES’ academic month of this year included two major events: “the Youth Forum for European Studies: Reflections and Reviews over the Post-War Development of the Europe”, which was held by the Fudan University on November 15^th, and the academic conference on “the European Integration against the Three Major Crises of the Europe: Sovereign Debt, Ukraine, and Refugee”.
