On September 18th, 2016, the Shanghai Institute of European Studies(SIES) and the Institute of Germany of the TJU co-hosted the “Seminar on Germany and Related Issues” at the TJU. Xu Mingqi, Wu Yikang, Zheng Chunrong, Cao Ziheng, Liu Lirong, Hu Chunchun, Zhu Miaomiao, Yu Zhouming, Zhu Yufang, Chen Wen, Ye Yuming and Yang Haifeng were present at the seminar. The seminar was presided by Professor Zheng Chunrong, Director of the Institute of Germany of the TJU. The scholars present conducted a deep discussion and exchanged their views on issues like the rise of Alternative fur Deutschland(AFD) and its influence on the political ecology of Europe, the future of European integration and the function of Germany in it, the development of Sino-Germany relations and the deepening of their cooperation under the structure of One Belt One Road.
