On the morning of October 18th, Prof. J. M. Berk of the Department of Economics of the University of Groningen of the Netherlands paid a visit to SIES and had a discussion with Xu Mingqi, President of SIES, on the current economic situation in Europe and the influence of Brexit on EU. Vice President and Secretary General Cao Ziheng, Vice Secretary General Yang Haifeng, Scholar Jiang Yunfei and Ye Yuming were also present at the meeting.
