On the afternoon of October 20th, the opening ceremony of the 10th academic month of Shanghai Association of Social Sciences, which is also an academic seminar, took place in the discussion hall of the Association building. The meeting was presided by Xie Chao, Vice President of the Association. The President Qin Shaode attended the meeting and delivered a speech. In the academic month, together with Fudan University, Shanghai Institute for International Studies, SIES will host 3 activities: On Nov. 1st, Geo-politics and Power Politics with European Characteristics——discussion on EU Global Strategy; On Nov. 20th, “EU Global Strategy”youth forum for European studies of 2016; And on the same day, “Brexit and the Future of EU”annual meeting of SIES of 2016.
