EU Foreign Economic Negotiations and its Foreign Economic and Trade Policies

  On Oct. 22nd, hosted by SIES, co-sponsored by Shanghai Institute of World Economy, Shanghai Institute of International Relations and the EU Studies Center of SISU, a seminar on The Changing World Economy, EU Foreign Economic Negotiation and Development of its Policy was held in the meeting hall of the department of united front of Xuhui District of Shanghai. Nearly 30 scholars from universities and institutes in Shanghai were present at the meeting. Xu Mingqi, president of SIES, delivered a speech and a conclusion. Dai Bingran, Fan Jun and Dai Qixiu presided the meeting. Xin Hua, Zhang Yongan, Xu Mingqi, Ye Jiang, Yang Fengmin and Shang Yuhong respectively delivered speeches on the ongoing EU foreign economic negotiations and the development of its foreign economic and trade policy, the contributing factors and new development of Sino-EU economic and trade relations. Quan Heng, Zhang Haibing and Wu Yikang gave their comments. Ideas were exchanged on the ongoing EU talks with US, China and Japan, namely the TTIP, Sino-EU bilateral investment agreement and EU-Japan free trade agreement, and their influence on the layout of world economy and security.
