On the afternoon of June 8th 2018, the academic symposium of “China-Europe Relations after General Elections in Europe” was held in the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, which was jointly sponsored and organized by the Institute of International Relations of the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS) and the Shanghai Institute for European Studies (SIES). The exchanges and discussions of this symposium were focused on three major topics: 1) political ecology and European integration after the general elections in EU member states, 2) the policies of EU and its member states towards China after these elections, and 3) China-Europe relations and the international cooperation on B&R initiative. Over 20 experts and scholars from various universities and academic institutions of Shanghai took part in this symposium.
