From June 22nd to 23rd, the 2018 annual conference of the Chinese Association for European Studies and the Symposium on “Re-initiation of German-Franco Axis and European Integration” were held in the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. Prof. WU Yikang, Advisor of the Shanghai Institute for European Studies, was invited to make a keynote speech on the opening session of this conference. Many distinguished members of the Shanghai Institute for European Studies (SIES) took part in this conference and symposium, including: Prof. XU Mingqi, President of SIES, Prof. DING Chun, Prof. ZHENG Chunrong, and Prof. YANG Fengmin, vice presidents of SIES, and Dr. CAO Ziheng, Supervior of SIES.
