On the afternoon of May 28th, 2019, a public lecture was jointly held by the Center for European Union Studies of Shanghai International Studies University and the Shanghai Institute for European Studies. This lecture was chaired by Prof. XIN Hua, Executive Deputy Director of the Center for European Union Studies of Shanghai International Studies University and director of research of the Shanghai Institute for European Studies. Mr. Gustav Gressel, senior researcher of the Berlin Office of European Council of Foreign Relations (ECFR), made the keynote presentation of this lecture, while Prof. XU Mingqi, President of the Shanghai Institute for European Studies (SIES) led the dialogue as the guest speaker after the keynote presentation. This lecture was participated in by Prof. LIU Hongsong, Dr. LIU Jiacheng, Dr. LONG Jing, Dr. MAO Xiaohong, Prof. WANG Zhiqiang, Dr. YANG Haifeng, and Mr. ZHU Yichen.
