On September 28th of 2019, the international academic conference on the “China, the Europe, and the United States under the Changes of the International Order” was held in the Tongji University. This conference was jointly sponsored by the German Studies Center of the Tongji University, the Shanghai Institute for European Studies, and the Global Research Center of the Bonn University, Germany. It was also supported by the Shanghai Association of International Relations Studies and the Shanghai Association of Russian, Eastern European, and Central Asian Studies. Opening addresses were made by Prof. XU Mingqi, President of the Shanghai Institute for European Studies, Prof. ZHENG Chunrong, Dean of the German Studies Center of the Tongji University, and Prof. GU Xuewu, Dean of the Global Research Center of the Bonn University, Germany. A number of experts from China, Germany, Belgium, and the United States took part in this conference.
