On the afternoon of the May 8 2020, SIES held an Enlarged Leadership meeting. The participants of this meeting were: SIES President XU Mingqi, SIES Vice Presidents DING Chun, Liu Jun, YANG Fengmin, YE Jiang, ZHENG Chunrong, SIES Secretary General YANG Haifeng, SIES Vice Secretaries General Dai Qixiu, Shang Yuhong, Zhang Yinghong, former SIES President WU Yikang, Honoary SIES President DAI Bingran, SIES Supervisor CAO Ziheng, and some other members of the Council of SIES. In this meeting, the Academic Committee for EU Studies of SIES was established with Yang fengmin as the director, Ding Chun, Shang Yuhong and Zhang Haibin as the deputy directors, Jiang Yunfei as the assistant director, Sun Dingdong, Wang Yuzhu, Xie Guoe, Xin Hua, Zhou Hua and Zhu Yufang as the researchers. The meeting also agreed to set up an editorial committee and to solicit contributions for the publication of a collection of works ‘A review and prospect of the EU development— the 30th Anniversary of the Establishment of SIES’.
