On 22 July 2020, SIES co-held a seminar on the transformational EU and its impact on China-EU relations with German Research Center of Tongji University. The seminar focused on the characteristics and challenges of the EU's structural transformation, as well as the dynamics of China-EU relations and ways to promote China-EU cooperation. More than 20 experts and scholars from Tongji University, Fudan University, Shanghai International Studies University, Shanghai Institute of International Studies and SIES attended the seminar.
