On the afternoon of December 26, 2020, the Academic Committee for German Studies of the SIES and the Institute of German Studies at Tongji University co-organized a seminar on the Summary of the Situation in Germany 2020 in TongJi University. President Xu Mingqi delivered opening remarks, Director Zheng Chunrong made a concluding speech. The participants of the meeting were Cao Ziheng, Chen Tao, Dai Qixiu, Ding Chun, Guo Jing, Hu Chunchun, Jiang Feng, Li Lezeng, Mao Xiaohong, Peng Xiao, Wu Huiping, Wang Zhiqiang, Xin Hua, Xuan Li, Yang Haifeng, Yu Zhouming, Zhu Yufang. They had a discussion on the political, economic and social situation impacted by COVID-19 in Germany, the trends of German foreign policy and Germany-China relations, and the prospect of Germany in 2021 and the medium and long term.
