On October 15, 2021, the Shanghai Institute for European Studies (SIES) sponsored and operated the “Symposium on the Influence of Germany’s General Election on the China-Europe Relations”, in collaboration with the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS) and the Center for German Studies of the Tongji University. Over 20 scholars of European and German studies participated in this symposium, who were from Shanghai Institute for European Studies, Shanghai Institutes for International Studies, Fudan University, Tongji University, East China Normal University, and Shanghai International Studies University, and other academic institutions.
