On December 21, 2024, the 2024 Academic Conference of the Shanghai Institute for European Studies (SIES) on “Europe and China-Europe Relations after the Elections in Europe and the United States” and the 13th Shanghai European Studies Youth Forum were held in the Small Auditorium of the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS), which was hosted by the Shanghai Institute for European Studies (SIES) and organized by the Institute of International Studies of the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS). More than one hundred experts, scholars and students from Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tongji University, East China Normal University, Shanghai International Studies University, East China University of Political Science and Law, Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Shanghai University of Political Science and Law, Renmin University of China, Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS), Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS) and other well-known universities and research institutes participated in the conference.
