On November 14, 2024, the Shanghai Institute for European Studies, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS) and China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CIEX) Shanghai Branch co-organized a symposium on “Navigating the Normalization of Trade and Investment between China and Europe”. Chen Cheng, Jian Junbo, Li Lifan, Ma Bin, Wang Linzhi, Yang Haifeng, Yang Zhengzhen, Zhang Xiang and Zhu Yichen discussed how to prevent the escalation of the trade dispute between China and Europe, and how China and Europe can work together to promote the sustainable development of the global electric vehicle industry.
