On November 7, 2024, Prof. Zarko Obradovic, former Minister of Education, Head of the Serbian Delegation to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and Professor at the Faculty of Security Studies of the University of Belgrade, accompanied by Li Manchang, former Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Serbia, visited the Shanghai Institute for European Studies (SIES) and gave a keynote speech on the topic of “Opportunities and Challenges of the Belt and Road in China-Serbia Relationship” and had a discussion with experts of the SIES. Participants of the symposium included Jian Junbo, Long Jing, Men Jing, Song Lilei, Xia Liping, Xin Hua, Xu Mingqi, Yang Haifeng and Zhu Yichen.
