On 13 September 2024, the Shanghai Institute for European Studies (SIES) held an expanded leadership and Party building work meeting. President Ding Chun, Vice Presidents Wu Zhongyong, Shang Yuhong, Yu Jianhua, Zhang Yinghong, Secretary General Yang Haifeng, Honorary Presidents Wu Yikang, Dai Bingran, Xu Mingqi, Supervisor Yang Fengmin, Deputy Secretary Generals Jian Junbo, Long Jing, Song Lilei, Xin Hua, Director of Academic Research Department Xue Sheng, Director of Consultative and Training Department Zhu Yichen attended the meeting. The meeting discussed the work arrangement of the institute during the year, studied the guiding principles of the Party Building Work of the Shanghai Federation of Social Science Associations. Honorary President Xu Mingqi analyzed the European view on the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee, and Deputy Secretary General Song Lilei reported the results of the visit and communication in Hungary.
