From 23 to 24 July 2024, the Academic Forum
on “Europe and European Integration under Multiple Transformations” was held at
Weihai Campus of Shandong University, which was co-organized by the Shanghai
Institute for Europe Studies (SIES), the Centre for European Studies of Fudan
University and the Institute of International Studies of Shandong University.
More than 20 experts and scholars from Shanghai Institute for Europe Studies,
Shandong University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai
International Studies University, Shanghai University of International Business
and Economics, Shanghai Institutes of International Studies, Chinese Academy of
Social Sciences and other well-known universities and research institutions
attended this meeting.
Li Yuan, Executive Vice Dean of the Institute of International Studies of Shandong University, presided over the opening and conclusion of the forum. Zhang Yunling, Dean of the Institute of International Studies of Shandong University and Member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Wu Yikang and Dai Bingran, Honorary Presidents of the Shanghai Institute for European Studies, and Ding Chun, President of the Shanghai Institute for European Studies, Director of the Centre for European Studies of Fudan University, and Jean Monnet Chair Professor, made the opening speeches. Dean Zhang Yunling and President Ding Chun made summaries for the forum.
