On June 8th, the conference on “Reform of Multilateral Trading System and Governance of Global Economy and Trade and the 30th Anniversary of Journal of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics” was held in Gubei Campus of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SUIBE). The conference was jointly organized by Shanghai Society of World Economy (SSWE), Shanghai Society of International Trade and Shanghai Institute for European Studies (SIES), and was undertaken by Journal of SUIBE and the International Trade Committee of SSWE. Experts and scholars from Fudan University (FDU), East China Normal University (ECNU), Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE), University of International business and Economics (UIBE), Shanghai University (SHU), Zhejiang Gongshang University (ZJSU), East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL), Shandong University of Technology (SDUT), Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS), Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance (SLU), Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS), Shanghai Institute for International Studies (SIIS), Shanghai WTO Affairs Consultation Center (SCCWTO), and editors of academic journals discussed how to revitalize the multilateral trading system to jointly deal with global challenges around the theme of “Reform of Multilateral Trading System and Governance of Global Economy and Trade”. The conference attracted more than 100 teachers and students from inside and outside the university.
