The 20th book in the the Europe Union and the World Series, Norms over Force: The Enigma of European Power, is published by Shanghai People's Publishing House. The book is written by Zaki Laidi, a renowned French scholar of international relations, adviser to the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and professor of Pakistani politics. Laidi). Zhang Ji, professor and associate dean of the School of International Relations and Public Affairs at Fudan University, wrote the preface to the Chinese version of the book.
