On December 1, 2023, the release ceremony of the "Report on the Trends of EU-US Relations 2023" and the seminar on "The Impact of Transatlantic Relations between the United States and Europe on EU-US-China-Russia Relations" were held at Shanghai International Studies University. The "Report on the Trends of EU-US Relations 2023" was co-written and released by the Shanghai Institute for European Studies (SIES) and the Center for European Union Studies, Shanghai International Studies University. This conference was a collaborative project for the academic groups under the Shanghai Federation of Social Science Association in 2023, jointly organized by the Center for European Union Studies, Shanghai International Studies University and the SIES. Professor Jiang Feng, the Party Secretary of Shanghai International Studies University, and Professor Ding Chun, the President of SIES, delivered opening speeches. Professor Yang Fengmin, a supervisor of SIES and the director of the European Research Institute of East China University of Science and Technology, summarized the conference. More than 50 attendees, including authors of the report and experts from high schools and think tanks in Shanghai such as the Shanghai Federation of Social Science Association, SIES, Shanghai International Studies University, Fudan University, East China Normal University, Tongji University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai University of Political Science and Law, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, and Shanghai Institutes for International Studies, participated in the seminar.
