Mei Zhaorong, former Chinese Ambassador to Germany, former President of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs and adviser to the SIES, passed away in Beijing on November 22, 2023 at the age of 89. Ambassador Mei Zhaorong has been an advisor of SIES for a long time, providing careful guidance and strong support for the development of the society. We deeply miss Ambassador Mei Zhaorong.
