On the afternoon of July 28th 2022, the Shanghai Institute for European Studies (SIES) held an enlarged leadership and Party working group’s meeting. This meeting was participated in by SIES President Xu Mingqi, Vice President Ding Chun, Yang Fengmin, and Zheng Chunrong, Secretary-General Yang Haifeng, and Deputy Secretary-General Dai Qixiu, Shang Yuhong, and Zhang Yinghong, former President Wu Yikang, Honorary President Dai Bingran, and Supervisor Cao Ziheng. Discussions were made on the change of leadership and election of new council. The lists of leading group and working group for the preparation of SIES leadership change were created on the basis of pre-consultations and pre-coordination. Also, the lists of candidates for next term of council and supervisor were created through nominations and consultations. SIES’ work for the second half of this year was also planned on this meeting.
