Two new academic books, Conceptual Disagreement and China-EU Relations, and EU and Multilateralism in 21st Century, have been published by the Shanghai People’s Publishing House in April and October of 2013, as part of the “EU and World Series” edited by Prof. DAI Bingran and Prof. CHEN Zhimin. This academic publishing program is jointly supported by EU Commission’s Jean Monnet Professor Program, Shanghai Institute for European Studies, and the School of International Relations and Public Affairs, Fudan University. The “EU and World Series” is a long term plan of academic publishing for the purpose of promoting the academic progress and nurturing the prosperity of European studies in Shanghai. Before the coming out of these two new books, the “EU and World Series” had already issued several monographs, including Mario Taylor’s International Relations Theories: the European Perspective, CHEN Zhimin’s Cooperation and Competition in the New Trilateral Relations between China, U.S., and Europe, BO Yan’s China-U.S.-EU Trilateral Relations in the Global Climate Change Governance, and Jürgen Habermas’ Contemplations on European Constitution, which had been translated by WU Huiping and ZHU Miaomiao.
