European Think Tanks’ Influence on EU’s Policy Making towards the Middle East, authored by Prof. XIN Hua, deputy director of the Center for EU Studies of the Shanghai International Studies University and director of academic research of the Shanghai Institute for European Studies, was published and released by the Social Sciences Academic Press (China) recently. In this book, the author created an overall analytical framework by integrating theoretic paradigms on think tanks’ influence with models for public policy research. Applying this framework in a systemic observation, the author conducted an in-depth analysis over the mechanism of three well-known European think tanks for exerting influence over EU’s policymaking towards the Middle East.
