The book Multiple Challenges Facing the European Union and its Foreign Relations, edited by Xu Mingqi, chairman of the Shanghai Institute for European Studies and deputy editor of Secretary General Yang Haifeng, was published by the Current Affairs Press in November 2019. This book is a compilation of some of the works of the European Union's research in 2018 by experts and scholars from Shanghai Institute for European Studies. It covers EU politics, economy, society, diplomacy, and integration. It focuses on the challenges facing the EU in recent years, the countermeasures taken and various impacts.
