On February 29th of 2012, SIES was awarded the prize for eminence in sponsoring academic exchanges for the 5th session (2011) of the “Month of Academic Activities of Research Institutes & Associations” initiated by the Shanghai Federation of Researchers of Social Sciences (SFRSS), on the 2012 conference for the work of chiefs of academic institutions & party construction in academic institutions, organized by SFRSS. “The Core of the Pattern of World Power Has Not Shifted from the West to the East”, an article written by SIES and published on the Volume 4 of Dispatch of the Shanghai Federation of Researchers of Social Sciences, was selected into the List of the Ten Best Summaries of Academic Activities of Research Institutes & Associations of 2011”.
