Prof. XU Mingqi, President of the Shanghai Institute for European Studies and Research Professor of the Institute of World Economy Studies at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, went to Kazakhstan on invitation recently. In the National Higher School of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan，he gave lectures to senior economic officials from various ministries of Kazakhstan’s central government on December 16th, on the topic of government’s role in the construction of financial center.
