On the morning of August 24, 2021, the Shanghai Institute for European Studies (SIES) and the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS) held a seminar on China-Europe relations. President Xu Mingqi and more than 20 experts discussed the China-Europe relations, the foreign policies after Germany’s 2021 federal election and France’s 2022 presidential election and some other issues. Before this seminar, the scholars participated in a simultaneous video election meeting held by Chinese Association for European Studies.
